B&W FILM MIXED UP

B&W Film Mixed Up tells the story of my passion for photography, marked by the black-and-white style that defined the beginning of my technical and creative journey. This collection brings together shots taken between 1999 and 2011 with a Minolta 505 and a Nikon F4, cameras I still treasure today. They capture the essence of a time when each image was born from a sequence of manual gestures and a patient pursuit of composition and the right exposure, when you couldn't afford to waste too many negatives. In a world speeding toward digital colors and instant gratification, the immediacy of black-and-white film pulls us back to the simplicity and depth of the image, forcing us to see shapes and contrasts without distractions. Each photograph seems preserved in timeless monochrome, where lights and shadows weave a straightforward narrative. B&W Mixed Up represents a connection with the past and a return to that visual purity that only black-and-white can offer. It’s a journey made of shots, mistakes, and gradually emerging details, reminding me why I began photographing in the first place, driven by the desire to share my small world through the allure of genuine, unfiltered photography.
